I teach Algorithms and Data Structures and Information Retrieval. My research focuses on trustworthy ranking and recommender systems, particularly fairness, explainability, and user and group modeling.

I held a competitive senior research fellowship to conduct research in mathematics and computer science.

I conducted research on ranking and recommender systems for individual users and groups, with a particular focus on algorithmic bias and fairness.

I led the scientific activity of an 18-person unit. The unit participated in more than 15 Horizon 2020 projects, and I led the execution of four of them. My research focused on recommender systems, user and group modeling, algorithmic bias, and fairness.

I conducted research on recommender systems, clustering, classification, and social-media analysis. I also contributed to university teaching and supervised bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral work.

I worked on mining cliques and pseudo-cliques in time-evolving networks under the supervision of Francesco Bonchi.
